Play Poker in Southern California From Texas Hold 'Em to 7 Card Stud. With poker jackpots updated daily, every moment holds suspense and excitement for our visitors. And there’s nothing quite like poker for that unmatched flush of excitement. Play the hottest games of Texas Hold’em, No Limit Texas Hold’em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud. This is a relatively new invention; Jack “Benny” Binion made the tournament format big at the second World Series of Poker in 1971, held at his Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas. After the WSOP became the biggest thing in poker, the internet came along, and it wasn’t long before everyone was playing online multi-table poker tournaments.
Binion's Details
Named in recognition of founder Benny Binion, Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel is steeped in poker history. Players at Binion’s (formerly Binion’s Horseshoe) can gamble on the site of many legendary multi-million-dollar clashes, such as the 1949 heads-up match between Johnny Moss and Nick “The Greek” Dandolos. In its former incarnation, Binion’s was also the home of the World Series of Poker from its inception in 1970 until 2004.
Following a 2016 redesign, Binion’s poker room now spreads roughly 6 tables of action. Managers have received high praise for this update, with gamblers complimenting the new Poker Hall of Fame display. These large photographs display emotive images from World Series of Poker history, including Stu Ungar’s dramatic comeback, a young Phil Hellmuth winning the championship in 1989, and pictures from Johnny Chan’s era of domination in the late ’80s.
The poker room is located next to the Sports Book. The Binion’s poker schedule focuses upon the game of hold’em in its limit and no-limit forms, though other games can be started on request.

Are we missing something?
PokerNews' tour of the summer 2019 tournament poker landscape in Las Vegas winds down with the 2019 Binion's Summer Series, taking place downtown at Binion's Gambling Hall, the legendary old Horseshoe where it all began.
The poker landscape has changed massively over the decades since Binion's housed the only game in town, but there are still tournaments to be played and money to be won there, even if it's not quite as much as the prizes available at some of the other spots around town.
Highlights and Features of the Binion's Summer Series
This year's Binion's Summer Series has seen the venue up the buy-ins on many of the events compared to past years, such that features numbered events are at either the $550 price point or $1,100.
Roughly every other day from June 1 through July 1 — the entirety of the series — there will be a featured event. The games will mostly rotate, as Binion's remains committed to a hallmark of its summer poker series: consistent non-hold'em offerings. Stud and Omaha players will find Binion's to be one of the more welcoming venues in the city.
Still, the 2019 Binion's Summer Series $1,100 Main Event will be no-limit hold'em as usual. It features two starting days, June 23 and June 24, and two subsequent play down days until a winner is crowned June 26. There's also a $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.
As for daily and nightly tournaments, the filler events that aren't among the numbered $550-plus tournaments will be $75 no-limit hold'em tournaments with $25 add-ons and rebuys and 20-minute blind levels.
One thing that you won't find on the Binion's schedule is guarantees. None are listed on the official schedule and PokerNews confirmed in a phone call to Binion's that none will be offered.
Binion's Poker Tournament Schedule
Don't take that to mean there isn't solid money to be won, if past events are any judge. Last year, for example, two players chopped the $1,000 No-Limit Championship for about $45,000 apiece.
